AKTINA Productions,
Inc., which brings you the popular bilingual radio program AKTINA FM on the airwaves of
WNYE in New York and also live on the Internet through its cooperation with NEON Network,
now introduces a new radio program, known as AKTINA NET, exclusively for Internet
listeners.
This new radio Internet series airs every
Sunday from 9:30pm to 10:30pm Eastern Standard Time from our studios in Astoria, New York,
and thereafter will remain on the Internet as part of AKTINA’s Radio Archives. So, if
you miss our live broadcasts on the Internet, you can always visit our Webside to access
our archived programs.

If you are listening live to our Internet
radio broadcasts, you are invited to participate by sending us an e-mail at aktina@aktina.org. Send us your requests for songs, or
your comments. If you miss our live Internet programs, you are still invited to send in
your requests for songs, or your comments and suggestions. AKTINA NET, just like AKTINA FM
will be bilingual.

and only Greek-American organization which started broadcasting on the Internet through
AKTINA FM Radio, and the first to introduce special radio programs exclusively for

AKTINA NET PROGRAMS WITH AN EDGE
Listeners are accustomed to our
successful radio programs airing on WNYE and on the Internet every Saturday from 3:30pm to
8pm EST and every Sunday from 8pm to 9:30pm EST. Now, you can hear the voice of AKTINA
with an edge!
During these broadcasts, we will touch on
several hot topics pertaining to the national issues of Greece and Cyprus, we will have
commentaries on various issues of wide public interest, such as politics, way of life,
culture, education, health issues and of course Greek music. Just like AKTINA FM, AKTINA
NET will bring you the best of Greek music and songs, as well as interviews with Greek
stars.
Members of our regular AKTINA FM team
consisting of our Executive Producer/Host Elena Maroulleti, co-host Alex Vaggelatos,
writer and commentator Tom Stouras and Production Assistants Caroline Ioannou and Andreas
Tsentides will be the driving force of the these new AKTINA NET programs.
These programs are made possible through
our cooperation with Neon Network, the Internet Service Provider which brings you all
sorts of services on the Net and among them, for the first time, community radio programs. |
